Non-members/Visitors are welcome to attend programs for a $5.00 fee. If a guest joins the society at the meeting, the fee will be applied toward the membership dues.

Non-members may attend one meeting per year free - see the certificate on the Current Programs page.
Workshops are open to JGSGW members only. Non-members may join on the day of the workshop unless advance registration is required.

Meetings are held at a variety of locations.

JGSGW at IAJGS 2010 in Los Angeles

We will have a table at the Fairfax Genealogical Society meeting at Fair Oaks Mall on March 26.

Research tip: The Oakton, VA, LDS Family History Center has a comprehensive set of the New York vital records index microfilms. These indexes are the first step to obtaining images from the records microfilms. Contact the for more information.

The JGSGW Genealogy Library contains the complete set of lectures from the Chicago 2008 IAJGS Conference; the CD from the Philadelphia 2009 Conference; and the CDs from the Los Angeles 2010 Conference.
